The goal of "The Inscription of Hope Project" is to raise $20,000
to build a school through author (Three Cups of Tea) Greg Mortenson's Central Asia Institute. The CAI, with its dedication
to providing equal educational opportunities to young women in remote areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan, has inspired the
choral students in the North Harford schools and their adult peers in the Deer Creek Chorale to undertake this exciting project!
Through the November 1st benefit concert that provides the cornerstone of the project; to Artist in Residence Gale
Jamieson's weaving and prayer flag projects; to the "Pennies for Peace" involvement at the elementary school level; this undertaking
empowers each person to make a difference in the lives of students across the globe.
Reviews and Accolades

awareness and funds for education in Central Asia -
"I am delighted and honored that my Mass of the Children is being included in (this) concert directed by Randall
Stroope. It's especially appropriate that the focus of the concert is to raise funds for the courageous and inspiring Central
Asia Institute project which will benefit children who live in such an underprivileged part of the world where there is so
much to be done." - John Rutter, Cambridge, England
